Clothing: Depends on where he is. The colour of the clothes he wears is almost always green or dark green. Takes a fancy on modern age clothes even though he comes from a medieval-time place.
Accessories: A slihtly tattered book in green hardcover and several silver pens with surprise(Silver needles instead of ordinary pen ends. Can be used for stabbing and throwing). The book is bound to Writers soul. The book can never run empty of pages to write on and cannot be harmed as long as it's binder live. It also contains about ten generations of knowledge. Ordinary pen and ink. A wing-feather given to him from Rhiann(the Sauk priestess) on a spring festival in the systems. He has attached a string to it and it appears for all purposes(except for that he doesn't wear it) to be a necklace of sorts.
Pets: None.
Home : Unknown except it was magical and medieval.
Special effects: The book Writer is in possesion off is old, very old. It is a relic off ages past and has a great but limited sentience(Writer do know of this and he treats the book with respect and care). So far only ten people has been in possession off the book. Great sages, sorcerers, and researchers have all left their knowledge and imprint in the book before joining the ranks of the forgotten and dead. Writer is the elleventh bearer and intends to be neither of what the others became. The book is full of knowledge like: How to get to the universe next door. That makes it easy for Writer to appear about anywhere.
Powers and abilities: Fast writing(several hundred words a minute). Good memory(Can remember what everyone said some days back in the middle of a bar brawl if he concentrates). Can become Pure words if there is a desperate need. In Pure words form he is a shimmering force of green energy that's two meters tall and slightly humanoid (no facial features). It's powers are unknown. He has some martial skill(Brawlin' and hittin' stuff mostly) but prefer to keep his distance in a fight and rather use his pens for throwing or magic.
Quirks and faults: Dislikes true shapechangers.(Not ones that have shown themselves friendly). While reading(Or writing) in the book he sometimes becomes oblivius to all else and only shaking him hard or screaming into his ears works(Loud sounds and vibrations) or waiting until he goes out of his trance. He also has made himself an enemy of a god.
Background story: Comes from a magical, medieval world where shapechangers are common (Almost all types). Writer grew up in a thriving community where he lived, worked and played till he was eleven years. It then became clear that he had an unusual talent with writing and was sent to apprentice with a local scribe. He had learnt and worked for the scribe for two years when disaster struck. A group of rogue shapechangers targeted the small hamlet where his parents and friends lived taking most of the populace captive. Including also the unfortunate Writer who was visiting his parents at the time. The captives were driven like beasts to a cavecomplex where a dark ceremony began. One by one the people of the hamlet were being sacrificed to some dark diety. The great cavern in which the ritual took place seemed to darken after each slaying and as the horrified writer realized that there seemed to be no way out of this,he was going to die. His parents were dead already slain on the bone alter that served as focal point for the dark forces. Suddenly with his eyes blurred by tears he noticed something. Wherever he looked the air seemed to distort and show him the same image over and over again. It was a book and three shining words. Without thinking he reached out with his shakled hands and took the book in them and shouted the words. I AM WRITER It echoed throughout the great cave and disappeared down the tunnels. All other sounds had vanished. Everyone and everything seemed to stop up for a moment, even the malevolent force. Suddenly the echo came back changed, stronger and firmer. SO BE IT A great scream of rage rose and the darkness that had seemed to fill the room now took form. It flew toward Writer. A form of claws, fangs and limbs tore out of the shadows toward him to rip every bone out of his body. Just as it reached him the world exploded in light. Green light. The scream was now one of agony. And as the light subsided so did also the dark force. After that the next thing Writer remembers is waking up in a different world. He's sure that somehow the rest of the people of his hamlet survived. Two years was spent on experienceing the Infinite Reality and dodging his new enemy, a god, before he eventually arrived in the Dream..And from the Dream to the Primary System.
Personality: Writer is a troubled young man. He is also a tad cheery but the death of his parents and being chased around the multiverses by a god tend to make most people more brooding and careful. His friends helped him out though and he was beginning to lighten up before he apparently went mad because of turning into a female kitsune.
Recent events: It had been over a year since Writer entered the Dream and he had become increasingly comfortable in both the Primary System and the Dream. Then he became saturised in magic in an accident in the Outpost and got turned into a female kitsune. He also lost his earlier magic powers. But everything was going somewhat fine until after having been on a vacation to an unspecified place he came running into the Outpost and assaulted the person whose powers was indirectly responsible for the transformation claiming to be wanting to be 'turned back'. He got locked up in sub4. He recently escaped with the help of two fanatical creatures of some sort(Apparently ninja and a shapechanger). Both creatures died in the process but Writer still managed to escape to another System via a Jaunt Chamber. Why they helped him and who sent them, if any, is a mystery.
Ambition: To not have to choose between the Dream and the Primary.
Alliance: H.I. O.C.T.A.N.E. (Formerly affiliated with Powergamers)
Gender: Male
Species/Race: Human Superpower
Height: 6'1
Weight: 155 lbs.
Build: Dancer with a more muscular (Than a normal dancer's) upper body.
Hair Color: Electric Blue
Clothing: White Leather Vest/Shorts with blue flame motifs. Bare arms and lower legs. Maybe a hat from time to time.
Accessories: Whatever he's thrown into his portals before. Not to mention a device fashioned by the government that allows his ultra-cold energies to be coalesced into a freezing beam
Pets: Hmmm... will discuss that later.
Abilities/skills/power levels: Dancer by trade, that's what The Rave does and what he loves. He's also had quite a bit of fighting training in the style of Capoeira, since it somewhat IS a dance. Also a very capable leader and strategist.
Special Effects: Rave is a storehouse of ultracold ionic energies. This gives him a few advantages. Teleportation. Not quite like Radical's, no... but The Rave can create teleportals that can link anywhere line of sight with anywhere he's been (as long as it's in the same world/gaming system). Toughness. Due to the energies that flood his body, The Rave is exceptionally tough, though, no stronger than an average person. There are others, but you'll just have to see those when they happen.
Personality: Flirt. Playful. Impish. But when the need arises, one hell of a leader. And ALWAYS has music around him in some form or fashion.
Appendix: Apparently, he has a history with Omen of the Powergamers, as well as with the others. What could this history be? Time and comics will tell.
-------------------- "I know you don't know me, but someday, you will. Boy, will you EVER know me."
Wings: Monarch pattern in electric blue and jet black
Clothing: As little as necessary for the task at hand
Accessories: Whatever he conjures for the task at hand
Aura: Electric blue glow.
Bio: Initial appearance at this link. He's older now.
Tricks and traits: Normally invisible. Has to concentrate to be seen. Magically enhanced flight. Emits magical energy in large quantities causing local area mana to increase over time. Pixie Dust can be used to carry spells like 'flight', 'levitate', 'sleep', etc. Can change size, optionally changing the wings into a tattoo over his back. Skilled gladiator with over 300 years in the pits as a prize-winning fighter. Skilled sorceror with over 300 years in service in wartime and peacetime, now retired. Anything else you might find out as time passes.

Fur (hair, feather, scale, or skin) Color(s): Black hair, about waist-long, often braided. Skin is the dark brown-gold of his heritage.
Eye Color(s): Right eye dark brown, left eye pale blue and scarred. (Unnaturally blind)
Clothing (armor): A pair of faded, scuffed blue jeans, a black t-shirt, a pair of old hiking boots, and a brown leather jacket.
Accessories (weapons, jewelry, tools, magic items, vehicles, etc.): His wallet contains an ID, assorted cards, and about two hundred dollars cash. Braided into his hair is a pair of feathers; one about six inches long, crafted finely out of gold. The other about two inches, made of silver. He wears a necklace with a third feather, this one copper, and about 2/3 of an inch long, as a pendant.
Pets: No pets, but he has an affinity with animals in general.
Abilities/Skills & Power Level: Nothin' special. Of normal strength and speed (as in, can lift one and a half times his own weight with moderate difficulty, and can run at a maximum of about sixteen miles per hour for short stretches). He knows how to defend himself in a brawl and land a few punches in delicate spots, but otherwise no fighting ability.
Special Effects (if any): He's an innate reservoir. That means that he's brimful of magic and power, without any sort of ability to use it. Not a single little magic trick. When he translates into most gaming systems, he retains this in whatever power is the local standard, even if it becomes electric, plasma, or atomic power. He can absorb magic or other energy used aganst him, too, to augment his already-present energy. Although, if he absorbs a whole lot of energy, it'll start spilling over... Such things as glowing eyes, electric discharge, accidental temporal jumps, and changes of appearance may ensue.
Description of Personality: He's irreverent and has an annoying urge to be funny, but he's generally kind and helpful. He has a stubborn streak as wide as a river when he feels like it.

Hrm. I coulda SWORN I did this a while back, like when I first started the Ashes Threads. But I'll do it again.
Xaotl is a middle aged man, somewhat broad in the shoulders and chest, with a slight 'tan' (actualy natural skin tone) His eyes are blue gray, and his hair is a light sort of mousey brown, unremarcable color, and shoulder length. He tends to have a somewhat permanently sad expression about his face, even when he smiles, and wears an blue gray cape similar to the color of his eyes. A white shirt, and a copper clasp to the cape that looks like a string of coins. Black pants, worn boots and a mace make up the rest of the outfit. The only really remarcable things about him at all are his scars and his very small seeming talent. He has a burnscar on his upper arm, from where he tried and mostly sucseeded to remove an tattoo, and across his back is a mass of whip scars, some trail over to his ribs and neck, but almost all of them are easy to hide under a shirt. His tallent, seems to be an uncany ease with catching things. Even things that theoreticly shouldn't be able to be caught by an otherwise normal man. Like a bullet, for example. Unfortunately this only works one or two at a time...and in a machine gun volley, he'd be holding two bullets, but still be very full of holes.
Feather Color(s): Sparkling white on evening-suit black. Looks natty with a bow-tie
Eye Color(s): Black on white. Difficult to say where the iris ends
Appearance at a gasp: Kawaiiii! Oh, oh, lookit the little keeeute penguin and that simply adorable beret he's wearing! Isn't he just the sweetest little thing? Oh, ohh, I just wanna hug him into little itty bitty pieces. Mom? Can I take the penguin home with me?
Clothing (armor): He wears a stylish wine-red beret straight from 70's France. He also has a cameraman's jackey on, with numberous pockets for holding things of the camerman's art. On a mission, he wears gear suitble for the job.
Accessories: A top-of-the-line ACME Hypersciences SRI Digital Kamera, with all the mod-cons, including the GoAnywhere Quantum Impression lense. And waterrproof. Satellite phone, direction microphone, smartbugs.. all the trapping for the journalist who really wants to get ahead.
Pets: Pingu is often mistaken for a pet, and on occasion a plushie pet at that. Nah.
Personality: It must be mine! Pingu is obsessive about two things. Getting the story, and his collection of signed comics. Pingu will follow up with extreme vengence on anyone that gets in the way of either. Other than that Pingu's quite a nice person to know, actually. Always willing to lend and hand, always listening to your problems....
Abilities/Skills & Power Level: Training:
AND HE SHALL KNOW NO FEAR. In the pursuit of a story, Pingu has dipped hmself in barbecue sauce so that he could have a one-to-one chat with a particularly dangerous web troll. Pingu when interviewing is as cool as a frozen cucmber dipped into liquid NO2. Otherwise he about as yellow as a beaver tooth.
SNEAK! Pingu realised early on in the journlist game that he could only get ahead by doging guards and outrunning dawgs. Pingu's sneaking skills rival that of Solid Snake, and given his size, he can sneak where no creature has snuk before.
Pingu is a dab hand with the camera, and can get the really difficult (but juicy) shots, and is skilled in dealing with low-level locks and the like.
Juice:
INTERVIEW! When Pingu turns on that interviewing charm, even a blood crazed minotaur in the middle of a meat frenzy will stop to give a few words about the positive attributes of managing stress through crazed violence. Then he'll eat Pingu.
SPEEDY GONZALEZ AIN'T GOT NOTHIN' ON ME! Pingu is capable of a terrific turn of speed, stumpy legs going like the clappers. Providing of course he is either a) hauling ass, or b) could really do with some speed right now!.
A THOUSAND AND ONE BITS OF GEAR Where the hell does he store all this stuff? Never mind, Pingu's 'inventory' is very, very large.
Stereotypical Quotes: "Excuse me sir, a quote for the paper?", "Hot damn, the Furlitzer Prize is now mine!", "Oh heck, time to go, now!"

I just got started here, and got pointed to this thread. Here's my info, for what it's worth...
Age: 27 Gender: Female Race: Morphic Wolf (variable) Height: Six feet (VERY variable) Weight: it's not nice to ask a lady this... Build: female powerlifter/body builder. Also variable, but always very strong, muscular and athletic Fur Color: Predominantly silver, with black 'socks' and 'gloves', plus black muzzle and black tail tip Eye Color: Gold Clothing: Variable, but usually a black sports bra and black cycling pants. Accessories: a smallish chunk of clear quartz on a silver necklace. There's a glowing blue spark inside the crystal Special Effects: Uhm, powers? Minor psionic (telepathy, mind shields, some touch of pyrokinesis). Size changer (hence the variable height, 6' is as small as I go, the upper limit's waaay up there, let's leave it at that. ). Shapechanger (many forms, mostly other furry species).
Sample detailed description: Standing before you is the female wolf, Iridium. Her fur is a bright silver-white, except for deep, dark black 'gloves' and 'boots.' Her muzzle is also black, as is the tip of her bushy tail. Her eyes are a bright gold that take in the surroundings with curiosity. She stands six feet tall. This female wolf is very, very strong, toned, fit, and knows it. She is rightly proud of her massively muscular body, flexing and reveling in her strength. Her shoulders are broad, thickly packed with muscle. So is her back and chest, the muscularity of her torso enhancing the look of her modest bosom. Her midriff is taut and powerful, rippling slightly with her every breath. Her arms are quite stout, immense biceps matched by equally strong triceps. Her tail wags across her glutes, two hard, round shapes that accentuate the feminine curve of her rear. Completing this phenomenal picture of female power are her legs. Her mighty quads are easily thicker than her narrow-ish waist while her calves are thick with strength. She is currently wearing a tight two-piece, black spandex workout outfit. The pants hug her legs, from her narrow waist down halfway over her powerful thighs, showing off the muscle and sinew underneath. Over her modest breasts, she wears a sports bra. Both articles of clothing are stretched to the limit over her massive physique. She's also gotten a rather worn and ragged sleeveless denim jacket from somewhere, one that looks like it's nominally large enough to fit her, but her colossal musculature threatens to pop the seams at the shoulders and sides. And there's no way this jacket could ever be closed across the huge expanse of her chest. She stretches, her muscles flexing and bulging, as you look her over. She smiles cheerfully at you and waves.
Home System: Ultimate Crossover Tournament Fighting, or UCTF for short.
Height: 5' 11''
Weight: 145
Build: Thin, and felxible.
Hair: Spikey deep red, but none of the spikes stick up in the air.
Eyes: Deep green
Clothing: Cargo Pants, and various "print" tee-shirts. (If any of you are familair with the C-Two line of print shirts, he has a bunch of those.)And black nike tennis shoes.
Accessories: He has glasses, and a replica of Gimli's axe from Lord of the Rings. Though the replica's blade isn't sharpened, it can still give someone a nice TWACK! >=D!
Special Abilities: Almost none. As a regular run of the mill human, Ethan tends to rely on his Conversion Matrix alot more than some of the other Guardians. However he does have a few tricks up his sleeve. - Master of the Orphan Systems: From his introduction into the Guardians, Ethan has always leaned towards the little known, abandoned, and otherwise orphaned systems. His intrinsic knowlege of these systems means that he has an edge over people he fights in those systems. - Faerun Emnity: Something that goes hand in hand with Ethan's knowlege of Orphan systems is his general dislike of anything associated with the Forgotten Realms system. He associates the rise of the Forgotten Realms with the decline of the original D&D setting Greyhawk. As such he almost always goes out of his way to make the lives of Faerun associated characters as miserable as possible. -Bag of Holding: Picked up on one of his trips to Oerth, Ethan uses this thing to haul around the equipment he uses for his Con Matrix forms. (See below.) -School of Hard Knocks: The UCTF is no mere wrestling federation. They take combat seriously there, none of the fights are staged, and deaths have happened in the past. Ethan did end up joining to help pay his college costs (it seemed like a good idea at the time.) Beacuse of this, Ethan has become hard to injure, having had a certin degree of toughness drilled into him the hard way.
Standard Converstion Marix Forms- As Ethan does rely on his Matrix alot more than average Guardians, he's had it tweeked slightly so he has more flexibilty with it. There are a few of his standard forms he takes when he needs the combat power.
-Street Samurai (Shadowrun System): Ethan's heavy combat form, the Street Sam is designed to do two things. 1.) Kick ass 2.) Take incredible punishment The form comes with all the standard Cyberware needed to do such things. -Wired Reflexes: Designed to increase speed and manual dexterity, these wries run throughout the body and boost the two to extreme levels. -Smartlink: An enhanced gun targeting system built right into the head. Data links run from a port in the side of the head to the guns being used. -Dermal Plating: Built in armor beneath the skin, helps absorb both bullets and phyiscal blows. -Adamantine Bone Lacing: Not only makes the bones hard to break, but makes punches more damaging and the entire body harder to kill.
Standard Equipment: Armored Jacket 2 Ingram SMG's, Smartlink Compatible 5 Clips Explosive Ammo 10 Clips Regular Ammo 5 Clips Gel Ammo Comm Unit
-Greyhawk School of Magical Arts Wizard- For when magic is required, this form is pulled out. The equivilent of a 17th level wizard, Ethan loves to use scrolls of Limited Wish to duplicate spell effects that he doesn't have memorized. (Is also really fun to mess with people's heads that way.)
Equipment At any given time 5 scrolls of Limited Wish
Personality: Basically easy going and calm, Ethan's personality does a complete 180 when someone manages to get his dander up. He's very protective of his friends and familiy, and will go to the mat for them if he has to. He travells back and forth from the UCTF and Prime systems all the time.
Familiy: A pair of vampire sisters named Chastity and Mercy Marks.
Build: Wasted, gaunt, though the cybernetic parts were made in a muscular cast.
Hair: Long, uncut. His beard is unkempt.
Eye Color: Green in the right, human eye, red in the left, cybernetic eye, though it's now grown dark.
Clothing: New Angelas Police uniform modified for use by cyborg. Artificial left arm and leg. Left half the chest is metallic. Metal plate on left side of head, along with cybernetic eye and ear. Metallic arm and leg are moulded to give the illusion of musculature, though they are powered by motors. Metal eye is round, with a red lens, similar to a monacle. The clothing is torn and stained with mud and worse. The metal is dinged and corroded.
Accessories: Handcuffs, badges, and a number of other police paraphrenalia. Cybernetic arm opens to reveal laser. There are also numerous weapons inside various chambers within the chest and limbs.
Special Effects/Powers: Superhuman strength and speed due to cybernetic enhancements, as well as powerful senses. Can monitor radio frequencies and see into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums.
Affiliation: Gaming Guardians, security.
The Ghost in the Machine
Age: Died at 43
Gener: Male
Race: Human Ghost
Height: 5'4
Build: Average, running to fat.
Hair: Was black, is now grey, like the rest of his body. His hair is long, running down the back of his neck. He has a slightly crooked goatee.
Eye Color: Was brown, is now grey.
Clothing: He wears a complicated looking robe that was once brightly colored, but is now a uniform grey. It appears to have a number of pockets, as well mystic symbols scrawled across it.
Accessories: Has no accessories. They were right, you can't take it with you.
Special Effects/Powers: He has the ability to appear and disappear at will, and speak directly to Berserker60. He cannot stray from Berserker60, however.

Name: BlackWolfe Coyoten Age: Late Twenties Gender: Depends on when you catch me Usually male Race: Furry. Usually a wolf/coyote hybrid Height: Male: 6'1" Female: 8' and up, the sky's the limit! (Depending on GM say-so in various worlds.) Weight: Male: 185 lbs. Female: Take her height, divide by his, cube the result, and multiply by 185. Build: Lean and mean Fur: Muddy grey, with a cream-colored underbelly and face. Hair: Brown, reaching to the middle of his/her back. Eye Color: Blueish grey. Or greyish blue. I forget. Clothing: Black denim pants, a black velvet shirt, and a black leather trenchcoat. Can you say "goth" boys and girls? Accessories: Sketchpad of Many Things, Sacred Chao amulet (Hematite w/gold trim)
Special Effects:
The Sketchpad is a dimensional portal to a pocket dimension containing whatever is drawn on it. The drawing must be fairly well done, though, or it's just a drawing.
The Sacred Chao amulet, if it is active, allows BlackWolfe to change gender by simply touching it with a paw. His female form can change her height at will, up to a limit that varies from system to system.
In FurryMUCK, his/her home realm, there is no height limit on this power.
In her female form, BlackWolfe suffers from claustrophobia, getting panicky in any place with poor light or ceilings lower than ten feet (at her 8' height, or 125% of her height otherwise).
Affiliation: Gaming Guardians Department: Operations, Research and Development. Particularly the "Research" part. Generally to be found in the library. Rank: Guardian Junior Grade
Personality: As a denizen of FurryMUCK, BlackWolfe had no problems adapting to the concept of a player "in control" of him/her. Many FurryMUCKers are aware of their players on, at the very least, a subconscious level. A good many of these are actually aware of their player as a sentient, conscious entity. BlackWolfe has always been one of this second group. (They often jokingly refer to their players as "pet humans," to give an example of the perspective they have on the situation.)
His/her... their transition to independence was facilitated by his player's laissez-faire style of roleplaying. They often did what they wanted within the context of FurryMUCK, so when they found themselves presented with the opportunity to leave the MUCK and head for other systems, they did so with enthusiasm.
They made a brief visit to the Napping Cat's Dream, before stumbling upon the Primary System. The presence of friends from their home system, along with the promise of teasing Angus' brother on the rare occasion when he stops by, helped prompt their decision to join the Guardians, and when not directly involved in a life-or-death struggle, they tend to revert back to the "wow, a new place to play," attitude that brought them here.
LATEST NEWS: BlackWolfe has been on vacation a loooong time. ((OOC: The events of the "Shattered Dreams" RP, as it was never finished due to my own inability to keep up with it, are treated as not having happened at all.)) He/they haven't been reported in any of the systems they frequent, most especially including FurryMUCK, the Floating Vagabond, World of Darkness, and the Napping Cat's Dream.
When asked, friends and acquaintances of theirs have said, "Oh, they do that from time to time. They'll turn up."
System of Origin: Unknown, believed to be one of the following:
Marvel Super-Heroes
DC Heroes
Champions (HERO System)
Although it's possible he's from the Primary System and always has a superhero-style conversion matrix on hand.
Alignment: Oh, lawful evil, definitely. No mistaking it, not at all.
Group Affiliation: The Iconoclast does not believe in organization, therefore any group he swears allegiance to had best keep their eyes on him at all times.
Clothing: The Iconoclast often wears a superhero/villain style spandex outfit consisting of irregular black and white patches in as jarring a pattern as possible. The large capital "I" in the middle of his chest is in a negative pattern -- that is, white where the rest of the uniform is black, black where the rest of the uniform is white -- and hard to distinguish amidst the monochromatic chaos that is his clothing. His uniform is comprised of a material called "Nomex," the same fire retardant material that racecar drivers use in their jumpsuits.
He wears an almost typical black mask, which covers just enough of his face to conceal his identity in a superheroic system, where such disguises never seem to fail. The main distinguishing feature in his mask is a blood red Anarchy symbol slightly above its center.
Hair: The Iconoclast's hair is black, with very little highlight to it, as though he treats it to dampen any natural glossiness. It's about shoulder length, and pulled back into a neat ponytail. He doesn't allow a single strand to get out of order.
Skin: Pale, very pale. In systems like World of Darkness, Chill, Call of Cthuhlu, and other supernatural systems, he's been mistaken for a member of the undead.
Eyes: Grey, with hints of blue. He has a barely-controlled look of madness in his expression at almost all times.
Accessories: Though he's not one to shun Hyper-Powerful Death Rays of any variety, his favorite piece of equipment is an old wooden Louisville slugger, which is dented suggestively and bears several dark stains. The "pommel" on the handle of the bat has been sawn off, and the handle has been sharpened into a point, which has been tempered with a blowtorch.
Personality: Excessively well educated, immodestly wealthy, and cultured, Taylor Wink snapped one day for reasons unknown. He decided to wreak vengeance upon the callous, powergaming GMs and players of Primary System for their blatant disregard of the safety and well-being of the underpowered masses of NPCs in many gaming systems.
He has a particular vendetta against GMs of superheroic systems, and it was once believed that such GMs were his only targets until a series of unexplained, brutal attacks left a number of World of Darkness storytellers hospitalized, with only vague memories of shards of light and darkness bursting out of the shadows.
Special Effects: The Iconoclast can take an inhuman amount of damage and still remain standing, albeit a bit shakily. He's been beaten, stabbed, shot, burned, disemboweled, and was once nearly decapitated by an excessively creative live action Mind's Eye Theater troupe, only to return, hours, days, weeks, or months later, depending on the severity of the damage.
The only scarring he's shown from his encounters is a faintly visible shiny patch on one cheek, where he was rather badly burned.
He's inhumanly strong, as well, though he doesn't look it -- capable of bench-pressing a mid-sized car, if he were so inclined. Of course, bench-pressing cars doesn't exactly further his plans for revenge, so he's not likely to do it anytime soon.
What are your aspirations? The Iconoclast glares at the questioner. "I will show them. Mundanes, humans, mortals, whatever you wish to call them in whatever system you favor, are not to be dismissed." His eyes flash a bit madly. "We will rise against our opressors, bringing down this sham of a regime you call the 'Role-Playing Game Masters,' and show them that the inhabitants of the systems they treat so shoddily are the true masters." He begins to cackle even more madly. "We will punish them all, taking our systems back, one by one. And when we have finished returning control of our homes to ourselves, we will come for you, and make the so-called 'Primary System' the realm for our own games of role-playing fantasy. These games," he finishes, chuckling darkly, "will not be pleasant for you, as yours have not been for us."

Name: Kokoro Kamino, the Dreamthief's Daughter Age: Early twenties Gender: Female Race (human, furry type, or other): Half Dreamthief, half dragon Height: 5'5" Weight: 130 lbs Build: Slim, looks lighter than actually is General Desciption: As an albino, she has long, snow-white hair that when loose reaches mid-calf, and when braided, reaches to knee and is tied with a leather lace with colored beads and what looks like metal fangs; she also has bangs that are made to look like the front six teeth of a big cat. Skin is also snow-white with no visible blemishes, except for two bloodred inverted triangles under her eyes that curve slightly and come to a point near the line of her jaw (like Princess Mononoke), and a black shadow tattoo of a Chinese style dragon wrapped around her right forearm. She has draconian wings that have a span of fourteen feet from tip to tip. And she has a tail, which twitches like a feline's but looks draconian, and is prehensile. Her hands are slightly taloned, and her ears are pointed. Eye Color(s): Ruby, with slitted pupils, shape is almond and tilted, like an elf's. Clothing: Clothing normally consists of a halter top that also ties at the bottom, and a double slitted skirt with slightly loose pants underneath. Shoes (rarely have any on) consist of mid calf boots; when barefoot, has ninja tape wrapped around the middle of her foot. Toes also slightly taloned (which is why no shoes, costs too much to replace or get fixed.) Armor follows same lines as clothes insofar as the shirt, has shin and forearm guards, and flank armor. All armor is made of an unknown silvery metallic material. Accessories (catch all): A straight blade katana-like sword, about 60 inches total length, with a deep blue, almost black, stone on the hilt's end. Colors of the scabbard are carribean blue and silver. Matching wakazashi and tanto. Sword can be at left hip or slung on back, reachable by the right hand. May also carry a spear with black leather wrappings on the shaft of it, and feathers at the joining of staff and blade. Plain silver rings adorn all fingers and toes, except for her ring finger on her left hand. On it is a small ring. It's thin band is made of sprialed platinum, on the top is set a deep blue sapphire gemstone. Several smaller threadings of a mystical metal are woven about the edges of the thin ring, making it appear as though it were spun into existence. Ears have two earrings (different colored stones in each to help with spells) and one ear cuff with danglies apiece. She has a plain silver spiral armband on both upper arms, and a bracelet made of small black stone beads on right wrist. Special Effects (if any): Think anime. Other than that, when doing a spell, her eyes will glow, different colors for different spells. Abilities: A beautiful singing voice, soprano. Has a Black Dragon Wave attack, very powerful and used only in extreme measures and as a last resort. Is a student of the Melnibonean School of Magic. Can shape shift, but doesn't like to. Can also, despite her appearance, fade into any background, whether standing still or moving.

Uncontrollable Jaunt ability (he can activate it but not choose where he ends up). Geased to be unable to use guns effectively. Some training in Judo and Sambo, mostly relies on what he calls Mayhem-Fu (the art of hitting people with walls, or vice versa).
Mephron is an Agent, plucked from his home System (a Hero System world) to serve a more powerful being in another System. When that being released him from service, he was allowed to keep his weapons and abilities... but his ability to selfjaunt only had a directional sense by tapping into the Entity. Now, he leaps through systems, trying to find his homesystem and the people he loves.
Weapons: Entropy Gauntlet: A glove of black metal, it causes massive entropic damage to anything it touches when worn - when separated from him, it's merely metal. He rarely uses it except on things that desperately need destroying, as most things will stop moving when hit with a foot-wide disintegration field. Elemental Gauntlet: A gauntlet of gold, with four gems set into the cuff: red, blue, green and yellow. Gives him complete control over the local elements (classical Western) while worn; able to also generate them if needed (which is useful, being able to generate fresh air). the Burning Blades: A pair of flaming longswords, they grant him world-class swordfighting abilities (which he lacks - while a reasonable brawler, weapon combat is not a specialty for him)

Special Effects/Powers: Unable to stay dead. If killed, will come back to life. This isn't to say that it won't hurt like you wouldn't believe, but he will come back, eventually. The worse the damage, generally, the longer it takes him to come back. Disintegration will take him a week to recover from. No other powers, but he has a lot of skills. For instance, he's spent most of the past two thousand years fighting, so he's gotten pretty good at swordfighting. He's less good with guns, as he doesn't really trust them. He's also very good at learning languages. Spoken, anyway. He generally doesn't trust anything not written in runes.

I've been posting here on and off for a little bit now, but only now have I found the time to do my dang ID right..so here we go
Name: Aurelius Marconis
System: Mekton Zeta used with homebrewed setting
Sex: male
Race: looks human.
age: Mid-twentys
Height: 5'8"
build: average
hair: dirty blond
eyes: blue-green
Accesories: high-tech, somewhat medieval looking armor (the best way I've found of describing it until I find a picture I like is similar to Doctor Doom's armor in style but nowhere near as evil looking).
powers/special effects: Armor always has flight, force shield, plasma sword, force bolt projectors built into the gauntlets. Armor also has a psi-booster that amplifies Aurelius' psi powers ( more on these later ). Other capabilities can be added by attaching various devices and/or weapons to hardpoints built into the armor. unfortunately, most of these devices are too cumbersome to be attached in the field.
Outside his armor, Aurelius has minor strength telepathy and TK allowing him to read communicate telepathically, read surface thoughts, and move small objects. When his armor's psi-booster is online, Aurelius is able to perform deep mental probes as well as telepathic attacks and be able to shield others from mental strikes. His boosted TK abilities allow him to lift and move objects with about the same mass as an armored truck as well as make powerful telekinetic bursts to strike his foes with. The psi-booster burns a large amount of energy, so Aurelius usually only uses it when the feces has impacted with the rotary impellor.
Aurelius' armor also has an onboard low-power AI by the name of Galahad. While having no true personality, it simplify tasks such as communications and sensor sweeps.
Recently, Aurelius finished installing what he calls the "Armor Shunt". This allows him, in theory, to store his armor in a dimensional pocket and retrieve it using a wrist-link disguised as a primary system timepiece. Unfortunately, he still hasn't worked all the bugs out of the system, sometimes leaving himself up a creek wouth a canoe.

Name: Lurker (not his True Name) Age: Unknown
Gender: usually Male
Race: Free Spirit of Man (A Nature Spirit, not a ghost) Status: Aware NPC
Height: 1m 80cm Weight: none (whatever a trenchcoat weighs) Build: Medium Hair colour: none Skin colour: None - no physical body. Eye colour: two grey smudges of smoke
Affiliation: Gaming Guardians Rank: GSS in charge of the Administration branch of the Admin Department.
Clothing: A black Fedora, an unbuttoned black trenchcoat and a pair of black gloves (optional). They appear as if being worn by an adult male, but apart from the eyes, they are all that is left of Lurker's physical form.
Note: Although I describe his movement as 'drifting', whenever he moves the clothing moves exactly as if it were being worn by an invisible person.
Accessories: None visible. He does have pockets, however, from which he can pull an astounding variety of things - many of which could not possibly have fit into said pockets. The pockets always appear to be empty.
Home system: Shadowrun Variant. Included elements of Earthdawn and Call of C'thulu, and used the Phoenix Command combat system.
Powers and Abilities: Up until November 2002 Lurker was a powerful manifestation of a thriving metropolis. Things have changed.
Lurker's Force and abilities vary considerably based on the local level of magical energies and how urbanised the area is. He is a free city spirit, and thus has a range of abilities common to such, including :
The ability to magically locate what he is looking foor, or to conceal something/someone from other's perceptions.
The ability to protect someone from accidental harm, or to cause such to happen.
He can cause people to become lost - even in areas familiar to them.
He can strike fear into people by his mere presence should he so choose. He rarely does.
Before his home system was destroyed, he was able to manifest as almost any humanoid he chose. Now he is locked into a single form, the floating hat and trenchcoat described above. He also has hinted that he used to be a Great Form spirit (A much more powerful class of spririt) -such is no longer the case.
He has considerable sorcerous power (being a mid-grade Initiate), and has recovered sufficiently from his injures to regain most of his sorcerous power. He can also use his sorcery to provide strong spell defence for himself and others in his line of sight. This spell defence is called Shielding.
Shielding has two effects. The first is to make the recipients far harder to target with spells. Even area effect spells will tend to flow around them rather than affecting them. Spells that do penetrate the Shielding will be drastically reduced in effect. The second effect is to greatly increase the recipients' resistance to magic, so that spells that do penetrate the shielding are likely to be resisted, and any damage they inflict will be further reduced, often to the point where no damage is done at all.
Other recently diplayed powers are:
Astral Vision: Lurker exists primarily on the spiritual level. Even when materialised, he still primarily perceives people by examining their souls. This lets him gauge health, power, emotional state and the presence of enchantments or cyberware. He uses this to good effect with his basic training in applied psychology when talking to people.
Astral Gateway:The ability to draw people onto the astral plane (in some systems this manifests as Lurker literally becoming a portal to the astral plane)
Masking: The ability to mask his aura, and to penetrate such masking in others.
Possession: By merging with a host body, he significantly increases the host's physical abilities, and greatly reduces his own pain. This is not, however, without risk for Lurker - he must defeat the host in astral combat. When Lurker possesses a sentient humanoid, his trenchcoat and fedora materialise on their bodies, tailored to fit.
Immortal: Being a Spirit, Lurker cannot truly be slain, but if his astral form is destroyed it will take him weeks to regain enough strength to return to the physical world. Just how long, he is no longer sure.
Astral Travel: If he stops manifesting a physical form, Lurker can travel at several thousand miles per hour, and only magical barriers will impede him. He can use this power to move to other planes of existance.
Gloves: A miscast Telekinesis spell has added to his form, giving him gloves that can move independantly of the rest of him. Their range and limits are as yet untested.
Dispelling Lurker can attempt to unravel spells by direct manipulartion of astral energies. This does not require any use of sorcery on his part.
He has a handful of other powers which have either not returned of which are currently unreliable.
Skills: Prior to becoming free, Lurker's primary role was as a partner for a shamanic P.I. He has strong experience in investigation, surveillance, stealth and information gathering. While he cannot easily affect technology with his magic, he is quite capable of using it. He can use computers and computerised databases, but would be hard pressed to hack into one and writing software is beyond him. He has modest hand to hand skills in physical form (he could take down a street thug, but not a black belt), but is a formidable opponent in astral combat or with his halberd. He is trained with firearms and a handful of melee weapons.
Since becoming free, he was involved in a second campaign where he had become a Crime Lord in order to take control of the crime of a section of the city slums and subtly steer it away from hurting the innocents therein. This character was ruthlessly pragmatic and more than willing to sacrifice a few for the good of the many. He also had a deep-seated hatered of the corrupt private security force that had replaced the now-defunct police force.
Notable Spells I seem to be explaining these a lot, so I'm just puttin them into my profile.
'Area effect' means, unless stated otherwise, a 20 metre radius sphere.
Single-target and area-effect elemental manipulations using various magical elements, including acid and a form of coherent light that can not only melt steel, but duplicates the effects of sunlight for creatures affected by such. These spells can miss, and can be dodged. Since they summon an element which then affects the target, these spells have much less trouble affecting technology. The element created is magical, however, and resistance to magic is effective against it.
Detection spells, including one that allows the recipient to detect those with hostile thoughts towards them within a couple of kilometers. Lurker can let others share the sensory input these spells provide, including himself if someone else is the recipient.
Healing spells - can bring someone back from the brink of death, but cannot resurrect. Can raise or lower physical stats.
Illusions - various effects. Some illusions work directly againt the mind of the target(s). Other actually produce an image which will fool cameras and other sensors.
Telekinetic Manipulations - various effects.
Transformations - altering shape, structure and in some cases the species of the target. Most of Lurker's combat spells require rolls to hit, and produce magical elements that damage living and unliving, tech and natural alike. There is a small list of his spells that work differently, which I will describe below.
Combat spells - All of the following spells resisted, not dodged. There is no roll to hit, and the target may resist with either force of will or fitness of body, depending on the spell. The resistance is on a continuous scale - a target may resist any percentage of the damage from none to all, or anywhere in between, depending on the strength of the relative stat. Inanimate objects are generally immune to spells resisted by will. They resist fitness-resisted spells based on how high-tech they are - the more high tech, the less they'll be affected.
Manabolt: Will-resisted spell doing potentially lethal damage. Lurker can use this spell to affect incorporeal beings, or to atttack without materialising if the target is active on the astral plane. Rule of thumb - if they can see Lurker while he's not materialised, then this spell can be cast at them. No effect on inanimate objects.
Stunbolt: Affects a single target, doing stun damage. This is actually one of two spells, one resisted by willpower, the other by physical fitness. I'll specify which one it is when I cast.
Manaball, Powerball, Stunball: Area-effect versions of the above.
Quirks and faults: Lurker has recently survived an experience which could flippantly be described as "traumatic". There appears to be a lingering side-effect. Under certain circumstances (largely dependant on his environment) he will switch, partially or fully, to a version of himself from a different campaign, in which he was a Very Nasty Piece of Work.
Furthermore, heavily polluted areas are exceedingly uncomfotatble for him, as are places where extreme negative emotion has been produced. the stronger the emotion, the longer the effects linger. Radioactive areas are actively toxic to him, but rather than killing him, they will slowly drive him insane.
Finally, being a spirit he has no 'unconscious' state. He's either conscious or dead. Knocking him unconscious will have the same result as killing him: He'll be stuck in the metaplanes, taking a few weeks to build up the energy required to return to the Matrial Plane - in game terms it removes him from the thread he's in, but not other threads or long-term continuity overall.
Background story: A thriving city, destroyed. 5 million lives snuffed out like birthday candles. From the ashes, a lone survivor. The ghost of something that was never alive to begin with. The distilled essence of 5 million souls filtered through one near-comatose nature spirit. It should have gone mad - turned toxic. Instead, it has changed. It is perhaps, more human now.
Furthermore, Lurker has little to no memory of what actually destroyed the city, or even, for that matter, the city's name.It has since become apparent that an paramilitary group calling themselves the 'Gaming Police' were involved.
Also, being pure essence, he has a hard time directly affecting technology with many of his powers.
Ambitions: To learn what has happened to him, prevent it from ever happening to anyone ever again, and to adjust to his diminished state. He regards the Gaming Guardians as the best hope for all of these.
