Yes, I could. And it looks like I've learned outlining as well...
In tonight's Freefall theater we bring you suspense! Action! Drama!

Well we were until the producers said we didn't have the budget for it. So here we have something hopefully close to entertaining: It walked at PonyCon! Episode Pi:

Wow! Did I really create this lil' layer file over three years ago? I glanced at the first post and noted I wrote it in December '03.
On a semi-related topic, of the people who still regularly post in this forum, it was StevenRoy who uploaded the third ever post (and second topic) to Mark's board way back on March 14, 2001.
Sincerely,

Nothing on the internet is ever really gone, Redfern. Your shadow puppets have been a lot of fun over the years. Great stuff, Won Tolla and Conqure.

Hey look 51 posts, I'm catching up to White Pony!
I had one last Idea that was worth burnning another post. I'm going to have to lurk for quite a while to get my posts/month rate down back to where it should be.

I'll see to it that your anvils are forwarded to him, though.
And then I'll either switch to a different image or get myself a helmet. (Or maybe a fursuit, they look like fun.)

I was looking through some old magazines the other day when I came across a short review of a japanese film called The Cat Returns, which according to the reviewer "knocks the whiskers off Garfield". While trying to find out more about it I found a fan site with a collection of stills from the movie and scans from the manga it's based on, and while looking through the former I naturally (well, according to MY nature anyway!) got inspired...
A bit later in the movie the heroine is, to paraphrase the Beatles, suddenly not half the girl she used to be. The audience is still being silly though.
A technical detail that may interest some is that both images are from the same GIMP file. I loaded the silhouettes first, then I loaded both stills as layers and proceeded to add two sets of speech bubbles. Then I made the two images by switching various layers on and off before saving. And if anyone's interested in finding out more about the movie (why the heroine seems to be turning into a cat, for one!) you can find an article on Wikipedia with a link to the fan site.

“The Cat Returns”. One of the few Studio Ghibli films I haven’t seen yet. Funny stuff, Won-Tolla.

Another one. Not a still from that site this time, but one I grabbed myself while previewing a very big file I'm in the pretty slow process of downloading...

If you guess I finally got the whole movie, you're right. Turned out it didn't have any subtitles (even though the file name has "(Eng Sub)" in it), so I got a .sub file and had to figure out how that works. (Pretty easy actually, just make sure the two files have the same base name and are in the same directory, and the player does the rest. At least WMP and VLC Player do, I haven't tried with others yet.) So I guess now I can start recommending it. It has some predictable parts, but also some surprises - and also some predictable surprises (meaning I saw them coming less that a minute away). If you have plenty of time and can't get it any other way, try this link for the movie
Or just do your own search. The links work with eMule, don't know if other similar programs can read them. (I inserted some spaces to avoid stretching the page, just take them out.)
The shot above is from the end, where Haru is rushing up the stairs of a tall tower to reach the gateway back to the human world at the top. There's a shot where she turns to look up the stairs that made me think of a scene from Ghostbusters, but I can't think of a retort for Florence...
In other news, I also finished an episode of Chobits today. By coincidence both videos contain a scene where the protagonist is late for class and tries to sneak in. (They both get discovered too.)
